Only the precursor ships can fit Entropic Disintegrators. The new weapon system occupies a single turret slot and only one can be fitted, limited to Triglavian ships. This opens many possibilities as a large number of utility highs remain free.
The Entropic Disintegrator has unique characteristics such as increasing damage per cycle and no falloff. When a target is out of range of the weapon, or if any event causes the weapon to deactivate, the damage ramp-up is reset. The weapon system uses tracking mechanics and is impacted by tracking modules, using Entropic Radiation Sink modules as damage modules. The damage type is restricted to explosive and thermal. Ammunition is loaded into the Disintegrator like conventional weapon systems and has no reload time.

The nature of Entropic Disintegrators causes the ship to be more PVP oriented, although it still performs extraordinarily in PVE. The Damavik is useful for null sec belt ratting due to its damage ramping bonus (which takes lots of time, something a frigate has when killing NPC battleships). It is recommended to have a small fleet of Damaviks ratting, due to the remote armor repair bonuses and the relatively close proximity of frigates while orbiting 500m of an NPC battleship. A fleet of fully skilled Damaviks could take down havens with ease. The primary of Damaviks fleets should be frigates, then destroyers/cruisers, and finally battleships. Sig and speed tanking are encouraged.
PVP
The Damavik pairs well with pretty much any other ship. A fleet of Damaviks can spider tank and free up a low slot - something that can be utilized for extra DPS, more tank, or more fitting resources for other modules. The Damavik is also a great kiter - able to switch to long range ammo with no delay. The no-falloff/tracking is a huge advantage for the Triglavian ships, as they are practically immune to all but the most talented kiters. A tracking disruptor can help the Damavik survive in slightly larger scale fleet operations, although if that happens the pilot should upgrade to a Kikimora/Vedmak/Leshak. The nemesis of the Damavik is the Garmur.
